Scottie Forrester, a Buford graduate, went 4-1 to take second place in the 149 lb. weight class for the University of the Cumberlands’ (KY) wrestling team at the Georgia National Wrestling Alliance Gorilla Open on Saturday in Atlanta.
Forrester defeated Matt Wright of Georgia Tech, Jay Mitchell of Marion Military Institute, B.J. Timms of Florida Gulf Coast University and fellow teammate Tyler Smith en route to the finals.
