The Wednesday Dogfights played stableford scoring this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. The individual points winner in the A Flight was Ron Melin at +7 points. Joe Roberts was second with +6 and Jerry Horton with +5. In the B Flight, Henry Komoto won with +11 points. Second was Roy Smith with +10 and Steven Noah finished third with +7 points.

The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played at Achasta in Dahlonega this week. First place went to the team of Gary Grogan, Larry Miller, Randy Gordy and Johnny Nix. In second place was the team of Gene Weschler, Ron Clark, Gene Cobb and Jim Cornett. Third place went to the team of Ace Jordan, Richard Strickland, Cleve Brown and Don Rogers. Closest to the pin winners were Grogan (No. 3), Brown (No. 5), Clark (No. 11) and Cornett (No. 17).

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a scramble this week. First place went to the team of Dick Bachman, Larry Cohan, Clay Bartlett and Al Pannell. In second place was Billy Shrader, Don Thomas, Jim Hollobaugh and Doug Hutson. Third place was the team of Eddie Johnston, Bruce Cavell, Dennis Pope and Jim Carroll. In fourth place was the team of Paul Payne, Chuck Keith and Dave Long. Closest to the pin winners were Carroll (No. 3), Thomas (No. 5), Joe Kolesar (No. 12), and Payne (No. 17).
