LCKC wins two golds in Day 1 of US Sprint Nationals
Miller takes first in K-1, 1,000 race; Ross/Finlayson win in C-2 1,000

The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club’s Chris Miller captured the title with a time of 3 minutes, 45.378 seconds in the senior men’s one-man kayak, 1,000-meter race on Thursday at the Canoe/Kayak US Sprint Nationals in Oklahoma City, Okla. Also for the LCKC, the tandem of Ian Ross and Rob Finlayson earned the win in the senior men’s two-man canoe, 1,000 race with a time of 3:57.129. The US Sprint Nationals are taking place at the Oklahoma City Boathouse District and runs through Sunday.
