The North Georgia College & State baseball team jumped up from No. 26 to No. 13 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top 30 poll on Monday afternoon.

The Saints went 2-1 last week with their only action coming in a weekend series against then-No. 9 UNC Pembroke.

After starting the season 1-2 and dropping out of the polls, the Saints have won eight of their last nine games to move into the top 15.

North Georgia travels to South Carolina at 1 p.m. Saturday to take on No. 30 Francis Marion in Peach Belt Conference action.
