The North Georgia College & State University men’s soccer team recorded their second consecutive victory Wednesday evening, edging Anderson University 2-1 n Southeast Region play Wednesday in AndersonGustavo Cunha recorded his second goal of the season to knot the score at one-all for the Saints (4-3), and North Georgia’s Chris Bishop scored the eventual game-winner off a corner kick by Amin El-Shami that just passed by the Anderson keeper’s hands. The Saints will next return home for a pair of Peach Belt Conference matches to close the month of September and open October. North Georgia will welcome Francis Marion University at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dahlonega.
