Brenau tennis picks up win in Florida

The Brenau University tennis team came away with a 9-0 sweep of Lake Superior State, an NCAA Division II school, on Sunday in Orlando, Fla.

In doubles, the team of Lyn See Choo/Kate Mazackova won at No. 1 doubles by the score of 8-4 for the Golden Tigers. At No. 2 doubles, Jolene Wong/Luibov Orlova won 8-1, and Brenau’s No. 3 doubles pair of Eline Nagels/Hannah Thompson won by the score of 8-1.

Choo picked up a win in singles, 6-1, 6-1. Mazackova won in singles for Brenau, 6-1, 6-1. Wong, Thompson, Orlova and Nellie Martirosyan also won in singles for Brenau.

The Golden Tigers face Barry University at 1 p.m. today in Melbourne, Fla.
