Brenau University catcher Morgan Smith had five hits and drove in seven runs in its 8-0 and 9-1 sweep of Emmanuel College on Monday in Gainesville. Anna Maness had six strikeouts in a complete-game shutout for the Golden Tigers (12-1-1, 7-0-1).

In Game 1, Smith had a two-run home run and three RBIs. Sarah Applegarth had two hits and drove in a run for Brenau.

Maness had a two-run home run in the fifth inning of the second game. Ellen Black added a two-run walkoff home run for Brenau. She finished the game 3-for-4 with four RBIs.

Black also picked up the win in the pitching circle with five strikeouts.
