The Brenau University basketball team broke the school's single-game scoring mark in a 98-54 win over Truett-McConnell on Tuesday night in Cleveland.
Meg Henson, a Gainesville High graduate, scored 11 points and broke the school record with 15 assists. She also led the team with eight rebounds.
The Tigers, who forced 31 turnovers on the night, raced to a 13-0 lead to start the game and led 60-29 at halftime as all 10 players scored in the rout.
Ashley Hagans led Brenau with 21 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists and five steals. Tori Collins added seven points, eight assists and eight steals. Sarah Ledford scored a season-high 15 points, and freshman Nikki Reed scored a career-high 18.
Brenau (14-7) returns to action at 6 p.m. Thursday with a home game against No. 17 Southern Poly.
