The Atlanta Falcons today signed undrafted free agent Bradon Godfrey.Godfrey, 6-3, 197 pounds, caught 128 receptions for 1,440 yards (11.3 avg.) and eight touchdowns in 36 career games at the University of Utah.
As a senior last season, he recorded season highs in receptions (56), receiving yards (556) and touchdowns (four) while averaging 9.9 yards per catch.
Godfrey’s 128 career receptions are tied for the seventh-most all-time at Utah as the Layton, Utah native also finished second on the team in catches in both 2007 and ’08.
Prior to transferring to Utah, Godfrey spent one year (2004) at Southern Utah University where he was named the Great West Freshman of the Year.
