ATLANTA — A person familiar with the negotiations says the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with free-agent cornerback Dunta Robinson, who had 13 interceptions in the last six seasons with Houston.

The person spoke Friday on condition of anonymity because no contract has been signed. Terms of the agreement were not immediately available.

Robinson is from Athens and played at Clarke Central. He visited the team Friday.

Robinson was the 10th overall draft pick in 2004. He had six interceptions as a rookie.

The Falcons ranked 28th in the league in pass defense last season. The team re-signed cornerback Brian Williams on Thursday.
