Hanson, Braves shut out Astros

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Brett Myers gave up two hits in the first two innings of the Houston Astros' 3-0 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday.

Tommy Hanson pitched the first two innings for Atlanta, and Jairo Asencio pitched the ninth for a save.

Jordan Schafer drove in the Braves' first run with a single in the third inning off Brandon Lyon, scoring Diory Hernandez after his two-out double.

Consecutive singles by Jason Heyward, Joe Mather and Freddie Freeman helped the Braves score two more runs in the seventh off Houston left-hander Patrick Urckfitz.
