Jefferson’s Tradd Porter and Union County’s Luther Jones were named Co-Defensive Players of the Year in Region 8-AA, announced Tuesday. Union County’s Robert Prunier is the Special Teams Player of the Year, and Charlier Woerner of Rabun County is the Offensive Player of the Year. Eleven area players were named to the All-Region first team.
