Dragon coach T. McFerrin reached 300 wins as a head coach in Georgia on Friday night with a 48-13 win over Oglethorpe County in Lexington.

Bryant Shirreffs completed 12 of 17 for 160 yards to lead Jefferson.

Shirreffs led two second-quarter touchdown drives to put the Dragons ahead 28-0 at the half.

Jefferson’s Kamen Johnson had 18 yards on four carries, but was efficient when he got the ball and scored three times. The leading rusher for the Dragons was Tristen Jackson who had 134 yards on nine carries.

Jefferson (4-1, 1-1 Region 8-AA South) will host Elbert County in region matchup Friday.
