Commerce defeated Jefferson for the first time in five meetings on Friday in Commerce, winning 22-7. Jamal Browner had 20 carries for 160 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers. Commerce took the lead in the first on a 12-yard run by Browner, but Jefferson was able to tie the game in the second quarter with a 10-yard rushing touchdown from quarterback Bryant Shirreffs.
