Banks County rallied to defeat Dawson County 19-14 on Friday night in Homer.
Down 14-13, the Leopards finished off a 90-yard, five-minute drive with a Dean Ewing 1-yard touchdown run with 40 seconds left on the clock.
Banks County quarterback Tyler Hubbard scored on a 4-yard run as the second quarter closed to tie the game at 7-7.
The Leopards took the lead in the third quarter on a 1-yard Tanner Thompson run, but the extra point was missed.
Dawson County responded with a touchdown to go up 14-13 before the Leopards’ comeback.
The Leopards (4-2, 2-0 Region 8-AA North) will look to remain perfect in the subregion as they host Rabun County on Friday.
Dawson County (2-4,1-0) hosts Union County, also on Friday.
