A woman was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center to be checked out Monday afternoon after she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the porch of a home on Old Dahlonega Highway, officials said.
The woman, whose identity and condition weren’t available, was driving with her two grandchildren when she ran off the road about 4 p.m. in the Murryville area, possibly over-correcting her steering, and her vehicle struck the porch, said Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell.
The woman was not believed to be seriously injured, just “shaken up,” and her grandchildren weren’t injured, Kimbrell said.
