Two Gainesville residents have been charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs.

The Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested Mandy Leigh Knowles, 28, and Mark Anthony Ogden Jr., 24. The two allegedly purchased more than 100 prescription pain and anxiety drugs from an undercover agent on Thursday, according to Lt. Scott Ware.

Knowles and Ogden allegedly purchased 100 Soma, 20 Hydrocodone and 11 Xanax, according to police.

The street value of the drugs is estimated at $1,365, according to police.
