Fathers and daughters were able to spend some special time together at the 16th annual Daddy Daughter Dance at the Gainesville Civic Center.

The theme for the night was “A Night Under the Stars.” The dance was divided into two sessions, one for fathers and girls in sixth grade and older Feb. 23, and girls in third through fifth grade Feb. 25.

The Civic Center ballroom was transformed for the night, complete with a DJ, dinner catered by Longstreet Cafe, dancing, raffle prizes and bonding time.
