The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery this morning at a northwest Hall convenience store.
The suspect, a white man believed to be in his 30s, entered the Kangaroo store in the 2600 block of Dawsonville Highway. Holding a gun, he demanded money from the clerk, spokesman Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said.
He then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen leaving in a white truck on East Sardis Road.
No one was injured during the incident.
Deputies and investigators arrived at the store at 3:45 a.m., Wilbanks said.
The suspect is further described as 5 feet 11 inches, weighing about 150 pounds and having red facial hair. He also was wearing a dark-colored hooded shirt and a dark-colored skull cap.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the sheriff's office's Criminal Investigations Division at 770-531-6879.
