Kevin Boyd, a member of the Georgia State Board of Education, will host a public hearing Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. at North High School.

Boyd, who represents the Ninth Congressional District, which includes Hall County, said last week the purpose of the meeting is to give interested people and educators an opportunity to talk about educational issues.

The meeting will be held at the North Hall Performing Arts Center, 4885 Mount Vernon Road, Gainesville. Those who want to speak should sign up as they arrive.
