Sgt. Greg Cochran of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office beat his own world record Saturday morning when he flipped a 555-pound tire 205 times. Set to the sounds of the cheering crowd that followed Cochran through the parking lot of Lowe’s hardware store at 1514 Skelton Road, the office’s Flippin’ for the Children event saw Cochran exceed the previous world record of 203 flips in one hour, which he set himself in 2010. “I feel whooped,” Cochran said after the feat.
