A proposed 240-unit apartment complex will go before the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board today.
A roundabout at Pine Valley and White Sulphur roads would be built as part of a proposed 240-unit apartment complex, which goes before the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board Tuesday. Gainesville planning staff is recommending denial of the apartments, but otherwise, officials say, the developer must meet certain conditions, including paying for the roundabout. “The additional apartment traffic will exacerbate an already difficult intersection condition, and therefore improvement will be required to include the construction of a 4-legged roundabout,” states a planning staff report on the proposal.
