Police seeking $1,500 copper theft suspect in Oakwood

Authorities are seeking help identifying and finding a suspect in a $1,500 theft of copper from Air Conditioning Services in Oakwood.

A man entered an Oakwood business Saturday and took more than $1,500 in copper, police said.

Oakwood Police said the suspect entered Air Conditioning Services on Plainview Road. The man was seen on the company’s surveillance video system driving a white 2000-2005 Pontiac Sunfire.

Investigator Todd Templeton said the suspect “took a large amount of copper along with various other items.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
