Gainesville Police are investigating a shooting Sunday night at the Atlanta Street apartments, the second in a week at the housing complex.

“It appears that it may have possibly been a drive-by,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said.

The incident, according to the Gainesville Police daily log, occurred after 10 p.m. Sunday on Atlanta Street. The victim suffered a single, non-fatal gunshot wound, Holbrook said.

The victim was identified as Lynquavius Fortson, 19. Holbrook said parties involved have been uncooperative with authorities.

No updates were available on the shooting Wednesday night, where 25-year-old David Anthony King suffered non-life-threatening injuries from a shooting.
