Hall County firefighters this morning put out a house fire in the Royal Lakes subdivision in South Hall, officials said. No one was injured.

Around 11 a.m., firefighters responded to the 4600 block of Windsor Drive to find a 3,000 square foot home with smoke showing from the attic, Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said.

The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes, Kimbrell said. The homeowners said the fire started in the attic.

The extent of damage was not immediately known.
