Gainesville fire crews quickly put out a fire Friday night at the Church's Chicken on E.E. Butler Parkway.

Crews responded at 9:30 p.m. to a small fire in a deep fryer at the restaurant. It was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The fire marshal's office is on the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
