New traffic signals to light up Ga. 347 today

Weather permitting, South Hall County motorists can begin driving today on part of a new road being built in front of the 100-bed Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, which is also under construction. Traffic will be moved over on new lanes of the Ga. 347 stretch from Chateau Corners Drive to Ga. 211/Old Winder Highway. “The traffic shuffle allows crews to rebuild the original lanes of (Ga. 347) while traffic runs in newly built lanes,” states a Georgia Department of Transportation news release.
