Dozens of classic cars will be on display in Lula today during the annual Classic Car Show organized by the Downtown Development Authority.
Money raised by the event goes toward maintenance of the old Methodist cemetery in town and enhances the city through the Lula-Belton Historical Society, said DDA Chairman Mark Lusink. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rafe Banks Park.
Lusink said the event brings 50 to 60 classic car enthusiasts eager to win trophies and gift cards to local restaurants.
The entry fee is $20 at the gate, Lusink said.
“The people who display determine the winners,” Lusink said. “It’s a fun event for people who fix up cars and trucks.”
