Jo Dinnan recommended as Hall elementary education director

Jo Dinnan, principal at Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy for 10 years, will be recommended to be the Hall County School District director of elementary education.

She will be recommended for the position at the February Board of Education meeting.

She would replace Dave Moody, who was recently named executive director of Lanier Charter Career Academy/HCSD Leadership Development

Dinnan also has served in multiple leadership roles, including HCSD Professional Learning Committee and HCSD Special Education Steering Committee, and is the past president for District 1 of the Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals.

Dinnan earned her doctorate in education from Georgia State University and her master’s and bachelor degrees from Brenau University.

Before going to Wauka Mountain, Dinnan was the principal at Martin Elementary School, assistant principal at Riverside Elementary School and a teacher at Harmony Elementary School and Minor Elementary School.
