A Gainesville man accused of stabbing and dismembering another Gainesville man with a knife at the Sun Suites extended stay hotel was indicted Thursday. Jose Antonio Garcia-Flores, 29, is accused of stabbing Harmon Vonzell Lavender with a knife longer than 3 inches at the Jesse Jewell Parkway hotel on Jan. 7. He has been charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
