Authorities said a 62-year-old man has allegedly distributed 2 pounds of illegal narcotics a week in Hall County and three neighboring counties. Franklin Douglas Edwards was the subject of a two-month investigation by the North Georgia Regional Drug Enforcement Office. He was arrested Tuesday night and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
