A Gainesville woman is accused of having a months-long sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy, according to authorities.

Jessica Nicole Roberts, 33, is charged with statutory rape. She was booked into the Hall County Jail on Tuesday and has been released on a $16,700 bond.

“The investigation revealed that the relationship took place over the course of several months from 2015 to 2016,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Stephen Wilbanks wrote in a news release.

Wilbanks said the two knew each other “through mutual family relationships.”

Roberts hung up the phone when asked if she had any comment about the charges Friday afternoon.
