Gainesville Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Atlanta Street.

Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said David Anthony King, 25 was shot and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Holbrook said the perpetrator fled the scene, and parties involved have been uncooperative with law enforcement.
