A Gainesville man was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana after a raid Thursday and was later changed with rape in a Gainesville case, a release from Hall County Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Ware said. Jerald Henry Bryant Jr., 30, is being held in the Hall County jail on the two charges. He was arrested Thursday after a raid on an apartment at 240 Atlanta St., Gainesville.
