More than $25,000 has been raised since a Dahlonega man and his son drowned at a popular Lumpkin County swimming spot. Joshua Kistler, 38, and son Jaxon, 6, drowned Tuesday afternoon while sliding off a rock at Dicks Creek Falls in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The accident was reported just before 2 p.m. at the falls, which is off Dicks Creek Road.
