A Flowery Branch man was charged Friday with 368 counts of child pornography along with manufacturing marijuana and felony possession of marijuana.

The Multi Agency Narcotics Squad charged Glenn Douglas Berry, 45, with 368 counts of sexual exploitation of a child, as well as one count each of manufacture of marijuana and felony possession of marijuana after executing a search warrant at his residence.

"Basically our investigative division had received information that this guy was on one of the sharing sites that shared images of child pornography, so they applied for and received a search warrant for his home," said Lt. Scott Ware of the narcotics squad.

Authorities conducted the search at Berry's home in the 5100 block of Sable Court and "seized numerous video tapes, CDs, DVDs, hard drives and thus far have been able to recover 368 images of minor children, mostly females in sexual acts," Ware said.

During the search, authorities also discovered eight growing marijuana plants and processed marijuana with a street value of about $16,000.

"There might be further charges pending, of course the evidence is still under review," Ware said.

Berry is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond.
