Flowery Branch is looking at renewing a contract for a local firm to provide building and soil erosion inspections, as well as construction management and minor construction work.

Clearwater Properties’ contract expired Friday.

The new contract calls for a monthly payment of $2,800 to the firm, which is based at 6343 Chestnut Hill Road.

City Council is set to consider the matter at its monthly meeting set for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 5517 Main St.
