The zigzagging for Bradford Street motorists may be over soon. A contractor for Gainesville has been working to install about 545 feet of reinforced concrete pipe and build five catch basins along the road between Forrest Avenue and Academy Street. The work also includes repairing or replacing “disturbed pavement, sidewalk and curb and gutter,” said Stan Aiken, the city’s senior civil engineer.
