Dubnik appointed to new leadership positions in state House
Matt Dubnik

State Rep. Matt Dubnik, R-Gainesville, has been appointed to serve on the House Majority Caucus Deputy Whip team for a two-year term.

The team monitors legislation as it moves through both chambers of the Georgia General Assembly and helps House members understand details of bills and resolutions.

“It’s an honor to continue to serve the people of the 29th House District. Being asked by Whip Kelley and Speaker Ralston to serve the Majority Caucus is a responsibility that I don’t take lightly,” Dubnik said in a statement.

The team is led by House Majority Whip Trey Kelly, R-Cedartown, and has 12 members, including Dubnik, state Rep. David Clark, R-Buford, and Rep. Marc Morris, R-Cumming.

Dubnik was also recently named as the vice chair of the Game, Fish & Parks and Juvenile Justice committees.
