Action Ministries of Gainesville, which provides housing assistance, educational opportunities and hunger relief to low-income individuals and families, is holding its “Dine Out, Do Good” event this Thursday.

Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of their gross sales for the day to the nonprofit to support its food assistance program.

The following Gainesville restaurants are participating sponsors: 2 Dog, Avocado’s, Chick-fil-A on Dawsonville Highway, Collegiate Grill, the Coffee Shop at Lawrence Pharmacy, Loco’s Grill and Pub, Downtown Drafts, Midland Station, Shane’s Rib Shack and Skogies on Lake Lanier.

Biba’s Italian and Mocha Moe’s in Flowery Branch are also participating.
