Boling Bridge on Ga. 53 will close to a single lane of traffic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

A lane of traffic will close from Dogwood Path to Little Hall Park, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Monday.

It’s the latest of a series of lane closures for the bridge replacement project, but up to this point most closures have occurred after dark as construction crews pour concrete for the bridge support structure. Similar work will be done during the day on Tuesday.

Work will be done “weather permitting,” the announcement notes, and drivers are again asked to drive slowly through the area.
