Gainesville school system’s Wee Elephant Day Care Center located at New Holland Core Knowledge Academy has several openings available for city residents.

The day care is open on the same days Gainesville schools are in session and runs from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through May 28 this school year.

It will reopen Aug. 3 and will operate through May 27, 2010. Weekly rates range from $120 for 4-year-olds to $150 for infants. Registration is under way at the school system’s office located at 508 Oak St.
