A 3-year-old who disappeared from his Lumpkin County home Wednesday died of an accidental drowning, according to an autopsy completed Thursday. Charles J. Lewis was reported missing by his mother around 8:50 a.m. Wednesday from his Hemlock Trail home. Units from Hall, Lumpkin, Dawson, Forsyth and White counties helped search for Charles.
