Andy Stewart has been promoted to senior vice president of Gainesville-based Peach State Bank & Trust announced Friday.

Stewart began his career in banking in 1995 and came onboard with Peach State in 2006 as vice president of commercial lending. He is a graduate of Gainesville High School and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He is a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church and serves with several nonprofit organizations.

“Andy currently handles not only our construction portfolio but the credit administrative duties of our bank as well. We are proud that he is part of our team, and he is well deserving of this promotion,” said Ron Quinn, Peach State president and CEO.
