For the fourth year in a row, students at the University of North Georgia have raised more funds for Make-A-Wish than any other in their conference, and the award they received for doing so has been renamed for one of their own. The University of North Georgia Student Athlete Advisory Committee earned the Peach Belt Conference Make-A-Wish award that will now be called the LeeAnn Noble Most Funds Raised Make-A-Wish Award. Noble, a student athlete who died in March, played golf for UNG and was both a Make-A-Wish recipient and an active participant in the school’s Make-A-Wish initiative.
