A 2-year-old child has been flown to an Atlanta hospital Saturday night after he was hit by a car in the parking lot of the CVS pharmacy on Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville. The extent of the child's injuries were unknown, said Cpl. Kevin Holbrook of the Gainesville Police Department. He also was unaware of any charges being filed against the driver of the car.
