Braselton will soon be home to 600 of Georgia’s newest jobs.Carter’s Inc., a well known brand of children’s clothing, is expected to move into Braselton in June, using an existing 1 million-square-foot facility as a distribution center for its e-commerce, retail and wholesale businesses.The move will immediately create 250 new jobs in Georgia. By 2015, the company hopes to employ 1,000 people in Braselton, 600 of which will be jobs that are new to the state.More than 200 of those jobs will be relocated from a Hogansville facility, which a company official said will close in the next year and a half.Carter’s Inc. is headquartered in Atlanta. The company owns the Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh brands, which are sold in more than 40 countries.
