Brenau University chosen among Great Colleges to Work For
Brenau University has been recognized for the second year in the Great Colleges to Work For rankings compiled by The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Brenau ranked among the top 10 small universities for its employee-directed retirement benefits, life insurance benefit and for employee confidence that the university treats them fairly, especially in the area of performance-based compensation.

In the three segments of the survey that differentiate small, medium-sized and larger institutions, only Georgia Tech made the top 10 in the same categories as Brenau.

"We work very hard to ensure that the university provides the best benefits and compensation that it can for its employees," said Wayne Dempsey, Brenau executive vice president and chief financial officer. "This proves that our employees recognize the effort and appreciate it."

"It is Brenau employees who make this place such a special place to work."

It is the second year that the professional publication has published its survey of employees at the nation's higher education institutions. The Chronicle of Higher Education reported nearly 41,000 employees on 247 campuses participating in the survey.
