Guest House names Chapman as interim executive director

The Guest House Board of Directors has named Dana Chapman as interim executive director of the nonprofit adult day health care center.

Chapman has more than 30 years of experience working for nonprofits and as a social worker in the health care industry. She replaces Rachel Spain, who accepted a community relations position with United Hospice.

"Dana has a tremendous background working with nonprofits, social work and senior adult health care," Guest House Board President Joe Foster said. "Her experience in these areas will be helpful as she runs the day-to-day operations of the Guest House until a permanent executive director is named."

Chapman spent 13 years working for Rape Response, including the last six as Director of Victim Services. She has experience as a social worker in a nursing home and hospital. The Griffin native and LaGrange College graduate received the Governor's Criminal Justice Coordinating Council's Eagle Award in 2007 for her work at Rape Response.

The Guest House is a private, nonprofit adult day health care center that provides elderly clients with caregiving services. For more, visit www.theguesthouse.org.
