Real estate firm changes its name to Heritage Realtors

Heritage Real Estate has changed its name to Heritage Realtors, president and Managing Broker Johnny Elliott announced.

The Gainesville brokerage, founded in 1980, is one of the area's largest with more than 40 agents and staffers.

"When times are tough, innovative companies willing to adapt and change are the ones that succeed," Elliot said. "We believe the local real estate market is stabilizing and our rebranding decision positions the company for quality growth as we move forward."

Heritage is co-branding with the National Association of Realtors. The change will include a new logo, phone number (770-538-4000) and website.

"We decided we needed to establish a fresh face in the Hall County real estate market to help attract a new generation of agents," said Janis Wilson, a longtime broker with the company.
